About Bartels, Taylor & Associates Pty Ltd
BTA P/L was established in the Shire of Melton in 1995 when the managing director, (who resided in the township of Melton) vacated a position as Deputy Sheriff within the Sheriff's Office of Victoria.The managing and founding director was David Taylor and working along side him was co-director Julianne Bartels.
Since the formation of Bartels, Taylor & Associates it has been a registered commercial agent with the Magistrate's Court.
On 1 July 2005, the firm became incorporated as Bartels, Taylor and Associates Pty Ltd (known as BTA P/L) with David Taylor and Julianne Bartels as company principals.
Bartels, Taylor & Associates Pty Ltd:
- is formally licensed through the Private Agents Board as Commercial Agents and holds the necessary fidelity bond required by law.
- carries all public liability and indemnity insurances.
- pursue new concepts within Local Government in the management of the PERIN fines system.
- has conducted research in the field of non-compliance with the fines process as part of a Sociology research project at Victoria University of Technology.
In 2007, Julianne Bartels became the sole Managing Director of Bartels, Taylor & Associates Pty Ltd following the untimely death of her husband David Taylor.
